Where The Vale bar used to be, across from Queen Street Railway Station, is the location of the recently opened Kaffeteria.
It’s sad to see The Vale go, if we had the choice of pubs to disappear it would have been Dows (sorry Dows but we loved The Vale font!). To find out what The Vale pub was like, click here to read from the Old Glasgow Pubs website.
Anyway, back to the present. Kaffeteria is brought to you by the folks behind Drygate, so we expected it to be stylish and filled with all sorts of goodies. This was a quick flying visit for some coffee (Thompsons) before a train journey. We’ll be back for a full review. Until then, here are some images to keep you going
