City Centre Cheap Lunch at Little Tuscany
We find a budget lunch at Little Tuscany
What was JoJo Macs, and before that Bread Meats Bread is now Little Tuscany. Outside it’s bright and enticing, an excellent location as well as within wandering distance of Queen Street Railway Station, Glasgow Central Railway Station as well as shopping at Buchanan Street/Argyle Street.
Inside, there’s a kitchen, bar area and two dining areas. Note, when it’s cold there is some draught every time the door opens.

What we ate and drank
A couple of cokes for us thirsty lunchers.
The Colonel chose the Penne Norcina – Tuscan sausage, garlic, cream and parmesan.
A creamy sauce with just the right amount of spiciness. Very filling, perfect portion size for lunch.
I picked Spaghetti carbonate, made Glasgow style with cream. Not overly creamy and lots of pancetta. Another healthy portion.
We also ordered a side of garlic bread, as well we like our grub!
Two thick slices of real bread, not that tasteless pre made garlic bread that is usually found.
Verdict
👍
Service was quick and friendly. A good lunch portion that was happily munched. On the list of quick cheap lunch in Glasgow city centre.
