We have ordered delivery a few times when we have been too tender to make, never mind venture out for a roll n sausage.  This time, a sit in lunch.

Inside, it’s s functional cafe.  A few tables, a bookcase with books for children and a collection point for Easter eggs for local kids. At Christmas they also collect donations.

What we ate and drank

A couple of teas were ordered alongside Mince, potatoes and peas, plus chips & gravy, with a cheeky side roll.

Well, I think the mince & tatties was good as there was a clean plate at the end of it!

The chips, gravy and roll was a portion!

Freshly made food, and not too long a wait either considering a healthy turnover of orders coming in.

Verdict

👍

A no frills cafe with friendly service and homely food.
