Chef John Traynor opens West End Deli
We recently wrote about the forthcoming opening of La Pastina Deli in Glasgow’s West End here, and you’ll be glad to know that from today (Friday 20th August) it is open!
We popped along for a peek behind the scenes to chat with John and to see their new Italian Aroma Coffee Steamhammer coffee machine being installed, it’s a beauty just look at it!

La Pastina Deli will be selling a combination of Scottish and Italian foods. You’ll find on Johns shelves Rapscallion Soda, Paisley Drinks Co, Italian Aroma Coffee,
He will be making fresh pasta daily for you to take home, and maybe serve with another Glasgow Italian creation El Pronto sauces from Tollcross. Alongside freshly baked bread and cakes, as well as a selection of vegan-friendly foods.
