Smashburgers, chicken, and waffle sticks
A recent addition to the Shawlands scene is Bollos which has opened in Shawlands Arcade. You will find Bollos next door to Holland & Barrett, where the jewellers used to be.
Inside it is clean and tidy and not like your everyday takeaway, with its booths, velvet chairs and signature lighting, this is very insta/tiktok friendly.

What we ate and drank
A big daddy for Mark. 3oz Angus Beef patty, buttermilk chicken, lettuce. gherkins, Bollos sauce, caramelised onions.
Bollos loaded fries – fried chicken pieces, grated cheddar and mozzarella cheese. coleslaw, gherkins, garlic and Bollos sauce
As you can see, healthy portions here. Both dishes were freshly cooked with lots of flavour. Unfortunately due to the portion size we didn’t have space for a waffle stick…next time!
Verdict
Tasty food made fresh. We will be back.
