What we ate and drank
Since it’s now the season to be festive… and our fake Christmas Day started with a salted caramel hand spun milkshake £6 and a Mimosa £8.75. Just the right balance of orange juice and fizz. The shake was thick, creamy, sweet and salty.
Roast Turkey Stack- double buttermilk stack, roast stuffed turkey breast, maple glazed pigs in blankets, roast baby carrots, roast potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce and parsnip crisps. £14.50. Look at that. A tower of Christmas goodies. Fluffy pancakes topped with savoury and sweet nibbles. Devoured.
A cheeky side of Festive Fries Tater Tots are available as well) – gravy, mozarella, turkey bits, pigs in blankets and warm cranberry sauce £8.25. Lux chips, cheese and gravy 🙂 delish.
Mulled pear and gingerbread stack – Double spiced buttermilk pancakes, mulled spiced poached pears, mascarpone, walnuts, gingerbead crumb, gingerbread syrup, caramel sauce and white chocolate sauce £13.95 Christmas! Mulled pears and gingerbread, festive flavours with a crunch of walnut and sweet white chocolate.
Verdict
We shared the pancakes and festive fries and left with suitably happy bellies and some festive cheer.
If you are looking for a budget festive feast or a Christmas night out which won’t break the bank, is filling and chilled out, then the Christmas menu at Stack & Still is for you.
