Finnieston faves get approval for a city-centre site

Hot on the heels of news of Ox and Finch’s spin-off Ka Pao permanent home in the West End is the news of approval for a city Centre site.

The B-listed premises at 68 Miller Street has had an application for the development of a new restaurant at this site since 2017.

A statement with their application stated “It is the applicant’s intention to form a new restaurant providing the customer with a choice of two different food offerings between the ground floor and basement which will be reflected in the design.

“The proposals account for a complete refurbishment of the internal spaces along with some minor external alterations.

The two food areas will be linked internally but customers will also be able to access both directly from Miller Street.

The applicant and operator is a local independent business that will add further vitality to Glasgow City Centre’s popular restaurant and bar scene.”
