New deli for Glasgow’s West End
La Pastina Deli is a new Italian deli which will opening up in Glasgow’s West End on Byres Road where Rodgers Butchers shop used to be, they have moved up the road. La Pastina Deli is pencilled in to open on 12th August.
This new addition to the Glasgow food scene will be specialising in handmade pasta, and classic focaccia sandwiches. All made fresh, every day by Director and head chef John Traynor. They will also be providing delicious cakes, fresh ground Italian coffee as well as homemade pasta kits to allow you to recreate the La Pastina Deli experience at home.
Chef John Traynor is the brains behind this new operation. He has been a busy man over the years with pop ups with his Undercover Dining Society as well as cooking for the stars at home.
Here’s what John had to say about the opening of La Pastina,
“I’m super excited about this new challenge that awaits with La Pastina. It’s always been a dream of mine to have my own spot so I’m over the moon that the time has finally come. We’ve got some really exciting plans for the deli and can’t wait to welcome you all in shortly fingers crossed 12th of august “
