Free start to the festive season in Glasgow
The Glasgow Loves Christmas Style Mile Carnival is back and it’s a free start to the festive season.
The carnival launches at 1 pm with the Lord Provost, the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and Vivace junior performers. Then between 1:30 pm and 5 pm, all along Buchanan Street and within the shopping centres of St Enoch, Buchanan Galleries, Princes Square and Argyle Arcade, there will be an array of street entertainment.
All the characters of Christmas will be there including Father Christmas and his companion Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, elves, snowmen, dancing snowflakes, a choir performance, street art and much more.
