Yardworks Festival transforms SWG3 into a multi-coloured canvas

This weekend SWG3’s Yardworks Festival returned for its fifth edition transforming the venue’s vast indoor and outdoor spaces into a kaleidoscope of colour.

Since its inception in 2017, Yardworks Festival has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s best events dedicated to urban art.

Shipping containers , archways, walls, buildings and a 200 metre maze, acted as the canvas for over 100 artists from across the globe with their creations to be on display for the weeks and months to come.

Gary Mackay, Yardworks Festival Director, said: “We’ve been doing this for a while now and it will always be my favourite time of the year, from watching people dance in the rain to the artists in their ponchos – the downpour on the first day didn’t stop the festival from bringing a smile to the faces of many. And with the sun coming out, it was a great end to an amazing weekend.”
