Shilling Brewing Company celebrates 10 years with £4 pints, free pizza and live music
One of Glasgow city centre’s best-known brewpubs is getting ready to celebrate a major milestone, with Shilling Brewing Company turning 10 years old this September.

The West George Street brewery and bar will mark its 10th birthday on Friday 25 September 2026 with a full day of celebrations, including £4 pints, free pizza, DJs, live music and giveaways.
It has been a busy decade for Shilling. Since opening, the team says it has poured around 1.2 million pints and served more than 230,000 pizzas, with plenty of memorable Glasgow nights along the way.

For its birthday celebrations, Shilling is taking beer prices back to 2016, with Shilling pints available for £4.
Even better, there will be free pizza from 5pm, giving visitors another reason to head along early.
The birthday programme includes:
Free pizza from 5pm
£4 Shilling pints
DJ from 4pm until 8pm
Live music from 9pm until late
New Shilling Brewing Company merchandise
Exclusive birthday stickers
Giveaways and other surprises throughout the celebration
No ticket is required and you don’t need to book to attend. However, anyone who wants to guarantee themselves a seat can reserve a table in advance.
Ten years of beer and pizza in Glasgow
Shilling Brewing Company has become a familiar name on Glasgow’s craft beer scene, combining an on-site microbrewery with a large beer selection and freshly made pizzas.
The venue currently offers more than 30 draught beers, including beers brewed on the premises such as Unicorn IPA, Glasgow Red and Black Star Teleporter. Its pizzas are made from scratch and cooked in a cupola pizza oven.
The brewpub is housed in an impressive former bank building in the heart of Glasgow city centre, making it particularly handy for an after-work pint, pre-theatre drinks or a stop during a day in town.
