Set Lunch at Gaucho Glasgow Review
Gaucho Glasgow on West Nile Street brings Argentinian steakhouse style to the city centre, with a set lunch menu that makes the restaurant feel a lot more accessible for a midweek treat.
The current Gaucho Glasgow set lunch is available Monday to Saturday, 12 pm–4 pm, priced at £17.95 for two courses or £19.95 for three courses. Always check before booking, as menus can change.

A stylish Glasgow city centre lunch
Gaucho is all dark interiors, polished service and steakhouse glamour. It feels more special than a quick lunch stop, making it a good choice for a work lunch, birthday meal, pre-theatre bite or catch-up in the city centre.
The Gaucho Glasgow set lunch menu
The set lunch menu offers a smaller but well-priced way to try Gaucho without going fully à la carte. Expect Latin American-inspired starters, steakhouse mains and indulgent desserts, with steak usually being the main draw.
The appeal is simple: you get the Gaucho experience, city-centre surroundings and a proper sit-down lunch for under £20 before drinks and any extras.

What we ate
The star of the meal was, of course, the steak. Cooked as requested, well-seasoned and served with classic Gaucho confidence, it delivered the rich, beefy flavour you want from an Argentinian steakhouse.
The sides were simple but satisfying, with chips and sauce doing the job without distracting from the main event. If you are ordering extras, keep an eye on the bill, as drinks, sauces and additional sides can quickly turn a bargain lunch into something more indulgent.

We were disappointed with the dessert, thin, cold crepes, boo. Maybe go for the starter next time.

Atmosphere and service
Service was polished and friendly, with staff happy to explain the menu and help with choices. The dining room has that moody steakhouse feel: dark, stylish and a little bit glam without feeling too formal.
Is the Gaucho Glasgow set lunch good value?
For Glasgow city centre, the set lunch is strong value, especially if you go for three courses at £19.95. It is not the cheapest lunch in town, but for the surroundings, service and steakhouse feel, it offers a good entry point into Gaucho.
Glasgow Foodie verdict
Gaucho Glasgow’s set lunch is a smart choice if you fancy a steakhouse lunch without committing to full evening prices. It feels polished, central and a little bit indulgent, while still being affordable enough for a midweek treat.
Best for: city centre lunch, steak lovers, pre-theatre dining, work lunches and special catch-ups.
