Bloc +, Bath Street, Glasgow Review

Plenty on offer for meat lovers, vegans and veggies

Bloc + has been around for years and as well as a bar and venue, serves food. You’ll have no doubt seen their wooden advertising board on Sauchiehall Street.

What we ate

Brukora £8.95 – Irn Bru chicken pakora with an Irn Bru infused pakora sauce. Big chunks of moist chicken. A sweet coating, and dip. Watch out for chunky batter bits.

Save the wurst till last £9.95

Crispy chips topped with cubes of cheese, currywurst sauce, sliced smoked sausage and mayo. Yes! like Montreal meets Berlin via Glasgow. A filling plate of sweet ketchupy sausage chip fun.

Verdict

👍

Tasty grub with budget friendly specials. If you are visiting at lunch time, get in quick as it fills up sharpish.

Clean toilets, no disabled access as entry is down old stairs. There is outdoor seating at street level.
