“Rum Madness: Let’s Rum Wae It” at Max’s Bar
Max’s Bar on Queen Street are running, for the whole month of March,”Rum Madness: Let’s Rum Wae It” in a bid to crown Glasgow’s Favourite Rum with tournament style match-ups, tastes and swag, social media voting and cocktail specials for the whole month.
32 rums will go head-to-head in the competition run where the rums will be split into two categories “Dark or Funky” and “Spiced or Flavoured.” Entries from well-known rum brands as well as some lesser-known hidden gems will take part in the competition.
Daily specials will feature head-to-head match-ups for the first sixteen days of the month, giving rums and brands the chance to showcase their liquid, give samples and freebies to bar patrons, and pitch for votes from customers. The championship voting will take place on Max’s Instagram stories in the final days of March – with the two winners being announced on the 31st of March.
