It’s chilly and there are days you just need a cafe with a full breakfast and tea. It was the weekend and we wanted a full breakfast in Glasgow city centre.
The Willows can be found behind St Enoch Shopping Centre, next door to The Winds pub and just along from The Scotia and The Clutha pubs if you are on a traditional Glasgow pubs pub crawl.
Inside its quite spacious, clean and tidy too.
Menu
The menu covers everything from hot rolls, breakfasts including vegetarian option, steak pie, fish & chips to chicken curry.
What we ate
We both had missed breakfast and had worked up an appetite, so two big breakfasts. Each had 1 lorne sausage, 1 link sausage, bacon, potato scone, beans, black pudding, egg, tea/coffee and toast.
Plus a water refill for our teapot. 😍
Look at that concentration
The bacon, tea and toast rocked. The other items were on the cheaper end of the scale but were still good enough to eat.
Friendly service with clean toilets.
